Terms of Service

Version 1.4 · Last updated: September 30, 2026

Welcome to Integrity. These Terms govern your use of our workspace — a place where documents, canvases, and AI chats work together as one connected thinking environment. By using Integrity, you agree to these Terms. If something here doesn't work for you, please don't use the service — or reach out to us at [email protected] and let's talk.

1. What Integrity Does

Integrity is a unified workspace for creating, organizing, and exploring knowledge. You can write in documents, think visually on canvases, and interact with AI — all in one place that understands context across everything you do.

What we're not built for: We're designed for general knowledge work, not for industries with specific regulatory requirements like healthcare (HIPAA), finance (FINRA), or payment processing (PCI-DSS). If you work in a regulated field, make sure your use of Integrity complies with your organization's policies and applicable laws.

Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your region) to use Integrity. We do not knowingly collect information from or provide services to children under 18. If we discover an account belongs to someone under 18, we will terminate it.

2. Your Content, Your Rights

You own everything you create

Every note, canvas, database, chat, and project you create in Integrity belongs to you. Full stop. We don't claim ownership. We don't train our AI models on your private content. We don't sell your work to anyone.

What we need from you

To make Integrity work, you grant us a limited license to:

We only use your content to run the service you're paying for.

Your content, your responsibility

You're responsible for what you create and share. Please don't post anything that:

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

Data retention and deletion

When you delete content or your account:

You can export your content from within the app, and you may request a copy of your data at any time at [email protected].

3. Our Intellectual Property

Integrity itself — the software, design, documentation, brand assets, and everything that makes the app work — belongs to us (or our licensors). You can't copy, modify, redistribute, or resell any part of Integrity without our written permission. To share our templates, brand assets, or documentation, email [email protected].

Feedback and suggestions

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Integrity, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or attribution.

4. Plans and Pricing

Free

Try Integrity with limited features, storage, and AI usage. You can upgrade anytime from Settings → Subscription.

Paid plans (Pro and Team)

Paid plans are billed per member ("seat") and can be paid monthly or annually (annual offers better value). Both renew automatically until cancelled.

AI usage is metered and included up to the allowance of your plan; additional usage may require credits or a higher plan.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Prices are in USD; your bank may apply currency conversion fees. Applicable taxes (e.g. VAT/GST) may be added.

Legacy plans. Some earlier plans (including the flat "Supporter" plan and the one-time "Lifetime / Believer" plan) are no longer sold. Existing subscribers on those plans keep their access under their original terms, but they are not available to new customers.

Payment failures

If a renewal payment fails:

Canceling

You can cancel anytime in Settings → Subscription. When you cancel, your current plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then you switch to Free. You keep access to your content, just with Free-plan limits. You can resume a cancelled subscription before it lapses.

5. Refunds

We want you to love using Integrity. If something goes wrong, let us know — we'll make it right.

Monthly plans

Cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. We don't issue partial refunds for unused time, but if you were charged by mistake or hit a critical bug, email [email protected] — we review cases individually.

Annual plans

If you cancel within 14 days of purchase and haven't used the service extensively, we'll issue a full refund. After 14 days, refunds aren't guaranteed but may be considered in exceptional cases.

Legacy lifetime plans

The "Lifetime / Believer" plan is no longer offered. For existing lifetime holders, that purchase is non-refundable except for verified billing errors or duplicate charges.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your account email and payment details. We typically respond within 3–5 business days. If you purchased through the App Store or Google Play, contact them directly — their refund policies apply.

6. AI Features

Integrity includes optional AI tools powered by third-party models. Your prompts and context may be sent to one of our AI providers — currently Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), Nebius, Fireworks, Gonka, xAI (Grok), fal.ai (image generation), Deepgram (speech-to-text) or TypeSafe (short yes/no decisions). Choosing a model decides who answers you; Integrity also makes smaller automatic calls — reading a document, transcribing audio, describing an image, or deciding whether a message was meant for the assistant — which may go to a different provider. The current list is maintained on our Subprocessors page.

What you should know

Your data and AI

You agree not to use AI tools to generate content that violates IP or privacy rights, contains data you're not authorized to use, or breaches applicable law.

Fair use and limits

AI usage may be subject to rate limits or quotas depending on your plan. We may restrict usage that appears abusive or excessive to ensure service quality for all users.

Provider usage policies

When you use an AI model, your request is processed by the third-party provider that serves that model. Your use of these models is subject to the applicable provider's own usage policies (for example, Anthropic's, OpenAI's, and Google's acceptable-use policies), in addition to these Terms. You agree not to submit prompts or content that violate those provider policies.

Safety screening and enforcement

To protect our users and our access to these providers, we may automatically screen AI requests for policy violations before they are sent, and we record enforcement actions we take. Where a request appears to violate a provider's policy or applicable law, we may block the request, route it to a different model, or restrict or suspend your access to some or all AI models. Requests involving illegal content may be blocked and reported as required by law. These measures are applied at the level of the individual user responsible, so that one account's misuse does not disrupt access for others.

7. Third-Party Services

Integrity relies on independent companies to power core features — payment processing, hosting, storage, email, AI models, error monitoring, and feedback. These services are essential to operate Integrity but are run by third parties with their own terms and privacy policies. The full, current list is on our Subprocessors page. We're not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or policies.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using Integrity, you agree to it.

Where your data lives

Integrity serves users globally. Data may be processed or stored in multiple regions — including the United States, Germany, and Finland — depending on infrastructure and hosting providers. Regardless of location, we apply strong security measures and comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Business customers

If you use Integrity on behalf of an organization (e.g. on a Team plan) and need a Data Processing Agreement, see our Data Processing Agreement or contact [email protected].

Your data rights

You have the right to access, delete, correct, object to processing, and port your data. For GDPR, CCPA, or other requests, contact [email protected].

Security and breach notification

We use industry-standard security practices. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you via email within 72 hours and explain what happened and what we're doing about it.

9. User Responsibilities

By using Integrity, you confirm that:

10. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Integrity to:

We may investigate violations and take action, including account suspension, termination, and cooperation with law enforcement.

11. Service Availability

We work hard to keep Integrity running smoothly, but we may occasionally update features, perform maintenance, or experience downtime. We're not liable for loss resulting from interruptions, but we'll minimize disruption and communicate in advance when possible.

No service level agreement: We don't currently offer guaranteed uptime SLAs. We provide the service "as is" and "as available."

12. Copyright and DMCA

If you believe content on Integrity infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with a description of the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and the required good-faith and accuracy statements. We respond according to applicable law, including the DMCA.

13. Beta Stage

Integrity is currently in a public beta phase — the product is still evolving. You may experience occasional bugs, unfinished features, or interface changes. The beta is provided "as is" for testing and feedback. We make no warranties about availability, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose.

14. Termination

You can leave anytime

Stop using Integrity whenever you want. Save copies of important content before deleting your account.

We can terminate accounts if

Upon termination, your access ends, your content is deleted within 30 days, some data may persist in backups for up to 90 days, and payment obligations for services already provided remain valid.

15. Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

Integrity is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for every use case, or compatible with all devices. You use Integrity at your own risk. We are not responsible for the performance or accuracy of third-party services (AI providers, payment processors, etc.).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Integrity and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of data, profits, revenue, or access; damages from unauthorized account access; issues caused by third-party services; or any claim exceeding the amount you paid in the previous 6 months (or $100 USD, whichever is greater). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

16. Dispute Resolution

If you have a problem, email [email protected] — we'll work to resolve it informally for at least 30 days. If that doesn't work, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in Austin, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and must be brought individually (not as a class action). Any dispute must be filed within one (1) year. This clause doesn't apply to IP enforcement, injunctive relief, or small-claims cases.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll notify you via email or in-app at least 7 days before they take effect. By continuing to use Integrity after updates go live, you agree to the revised Terms. Previous versions are retained in our version history.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Integrity, its team, and affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) resulting from your violation of these Terms, your content or use of the service, infringement of another's rights through your activity, or your violation of any law.

20. Force Majeure

We're not liable for delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government actions, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party service outages (hosting, AI providers, etc.), or public health emergencies.

21. Miscellaneous

By using Integrity, you agree to receive communications electronically. Using Integrity creates no partnership, employment, or agency relationship. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains valid. We may transfer our rights (e.g. in a merger); you may not assign yours without our consent. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and Integrity. Our failure to enforce a provision doesn't waive it. These Terms are written in English; the English version controls.
